As part of our Art of Living series, our guest today on the Not Old Better Show is Carrie Tice. Carrie Tice, below left, founder and CEO of Octavia Wellness is an innovator, Carrie Tice is energetic and Carrie Tice is a smart, passionate leader of her startup, Octavia Wellness, with an important story to tell.
The Octavia Wellness brand sells products derived from the cannabis plant online. These products consist of Pain-relieving tinctures, sleep aids, balms, and pre-packaged dried flower which ca all be delivered right to a patient’s doorstep.
There is so much change in this new industry, and so much dialog, and I felt if important to The Not Old Better audience to hear from an expert about the benefits for treating various ailments.
Additionally, at this point, I want to point out that Octavia Wellnesssells products with cannabidiol, also known as CBD, medically and legally. You’ll note the prefix, cannabi. and will note this is a product from the cannabis plant, also known as marijuana. There is a distinct difference between the CBD (cannabidiol), and the THC in marijuana, which Carrie will discuss. Additionally, I will say, CBD does not possess the psychoactive effects of a “high” like the THC in marijuana.

The BIG wide world of cannabis products can be confusing for anyone. But, understanding the differences between products can be especially challenging for seniors, who have spent nearly their entire lives in the reefer madness era.
Not to mention, anyone with cognitive decline will need special help with finding and using the right products.
